Pastor David Crenshaw is a Navy Submarine Force veteran of twenty years who attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (Electronics). He retired from the Navy in Hawaii in 1980. He has been married to Jan (Holbrook) for thirty-three years. They met in Hawaii on July 4th and the “fireworks flew!” Dave was led to the Lord by Jan and her pastor, Pete Anderson, at Trinity Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Kailua, Hawaii in 1981. Pastor Crenshaw attended Westminster Theological Seminary in California from July 1983 to May 1986 and earned both a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Divinity degree in a three-year program. He was ordained by the Pacific Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in January 1987 and served as pastor of a PCA church in Bakersfield, CA for eight and one half years. Dave has served churches in Pleasanton, CA, Leesburg, VA, Pensacola, FL, Lillian and Robertsdale, AL. Pastor Crenshaw twice served as Moderator of the Pacific Presbytery and also as Moderator of the Northern California Presbytery. He has served on the Candidates and Credentials (Examinations) Committee in four Presbyteries and on the Ministers and Churches Committee of the Gulf Coast Presbytery.
Pastor Crenshaw is committed to serving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and is committed to the reformed faith as the clearest expression of what the Bible teaches. He serves TBI using the gifts God has given him as a teacher and preacher. It is his goal to give God glory by living his life in service to Him.
