Time to Reboot
Dear Partners in Ministry,
Thank you for your generous investment in TCWM. God continues to do great things in Central and East Africa. Millions have come to Christ; the Holy Spirit is working nonstop. We are stepping up to the plate to provide the greatest need of Christ’s Church in Africa: theological education.
We have had an uphill battle with our ministry in two ways recently: 1) We have had to delay the grand opening of our first accredited classes due to COVID-19 and 2) we have faced some new financial challenges in Africa which were unexpected. These included helping our students in five locations with generous amounts of food during the pandemic, expanding our medical ministry, and improving our main campus.
Nevertheless, we are undaunted in the task that God has given us in East and Central Africa. Churches and schools are beginning to reopen. The time has come for us to have our grand opening for our accredited theology program and hold conferences in each of our five teaching centers. The governments of Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda have sent their requirements: we will need a six-week supply of masks for all our students; social distancing must be enforced; we must allow extra room between desks and beds; we will need to replenish our medical supplies.
We are now raising funds specifically toward this new startup of classes and we are asking if you would pray about participating in the sponsorship of a theology student this fall ($580) or perhaps a gift toward our general operating costs in order to prepare our campuses so that our students may safely return.
We are excited about this work, believing that God is in it and blessing it. And God is using your prayers and sacrificial giving. We believe that this work of discipleship is close to the heart of God. In obedience to Christ’s command, we are going, making disciples, and teaching them to obey all that Christ has commanded.
Thank you for your commitment to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Let us press on and go further into the Central African harvest with great joy and confidence in Christ.
To God be all the glory!
